Black bean Burgers


Ingredients:

  • 3 TBsp olive oil
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 green onions chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin and coriander
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and drain black beans, either purée in blender or mash with a fork in a bowl.
  2. Add the other ingredients, except the oil and mix well with your hands.
  3. Form into four even patties.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and cook on each side for 4 minutes each side.
  5. Serve with salad or inside a burger bun.
