Buckwheat Pancakes


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups buckwheat flour (McKenzies if possible)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 2 TBsp honey or maple syrup
  • Butter for the pan
  • Desired toppings

Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together and in a separate bowl mix wet ingredients.
  2. Combine together and mix until lumps removed.
  3. Melt butter in pan.
  4. Pour 2 TBsp amounts into medium hot pan and cook until bubbles pop in the batter.
  5. Flip over and cook until golden brown.
  6. Cook until all done and serve with favourite toppings.
