Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients:

  • 125 gms butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups SR Flour
  • 1 cup choc chips
  • 1/3 cup milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 C.
  2. Line two trays with baking paper and set aside.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add vanilla essence, then egg and beat until combined.
  5. Add flour and pour in enough of the milk until it gets the right consistency.
  6. (Sometimes you will need the full amount and sometimes you will need a little less.)
  7. Fold through choc chips and place heap table spoon amounts on prepared trays, spreading them evenly and allowing for spreading.
  8. Cook for 8-12 minutes or until slightly golden on outside.
  9. Cook on wire wrack.
