CHOWDER

Ingredients:
- 1 can creamed corn
- 4 potatoes peeled and chopped
- 2 large carrots chopped
- 200-300gms diced bacon
- 2 chicken stock cubes
- Milk and Water
- Oil
- Salt and white pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat oil in large pot and cook the bacon until browning.
- Add can of creamed corn then fill can with milk and pour into pot.
- Fill the can with water and add to the pot also.
- Add all other ingredients and bring to simmer.
- Cook until veggies are soft, stir every now and then, to stop bottom catching (about 30-45 mins.)
- Serve with thick toast or fresh bread if desired.
- You can double recipe.
- Great for a cold winter lunch!
