Dark Chocolate Fudge


Ingredients:

  • 375gms dark chocolate broken in to pieces
  • 395g can sweeten condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar sifted
  • 1/2 cup glacĂ© red cherries chopped
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 3/4 cup pistachios chopped
  • extra cranberries and chopped pistachios chopped for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Grease a loaf tin and line with foil then grease the foil also.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of boiling water.
  3. Once the chocolate is completely melted add sugar and the condensed milk.
  4. Mix in the rest of the ingredients, except garnish and pour into prepared tin.
  5. Smooth top and sprinkle garnish on top. Gently push pieces of garnish into the top but not completely covering the pieces.
  6. Refrigerate over night and cut into small squares or slices.
  7. You can easily replace the cherries, cranberries and pistachios with other dried fruit or nuts.
