Ingredients:
- 125 gms dark chocolate
- 125 gms butter, cubed
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup buckwheat flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 eggs
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Line a 28x18cm slice tray with baking paper.
- Break chocolate into pieces and set aside.
- Melt butter in a small saucepan, then add sugar and stir until sugar is melted.
- Add chopped chocolate and stir until all the pieces are melted, remove from heat.
- Sift flour, cocoa and baking soda.
- Mix in the beaten eggs and then add in the chocolate mixture.
- Pour into the prepared tray and cook for 30 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
- Cut up once cold into squares and decorate with icing sugar.
