No Bake Oreo Cheese Cake


Ingredients:

Crust:
  • 24 Oreos
  • 4 TBsp butter melted
Cheese Cake:
  • 455gms cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 cup icing sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 15 Oreos chopped

Instructions:

Crust:
  1. Prepare a 9 inch spring form pan, by greasing base and sides.
  2. Place grease proof paper in base and set aside.
  3. In a blender, blend cookies for the base and while rotating add melted butter.
  4. Once all the cookie crumbs are wet, remove from blender and pour into prepared pan.
  5. Push the crumbs down until they are even on the bottom of the pan.
  6. Place pan in fridge while preparing the cheese cake.
Cheese Cake:
  1. Whip cheese with whip attachment until smooth.
  2. Add sugar and vanilla and whip until well combined.
  3. Pour in cream and whip until very well blended.
  4. Fold through cookies and scoop into prepared pan.
  5. Smooth over top and decorate as desired.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-5 hours.
  7. Carefully remove from pan and serve chilled.
  8. Keep any remaining cake in fridge for up to 3 days.
