No Knead Bread


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup room temperature water
  • Extra flour

Instructions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together.
  2. In a jug mix the two waters together and pour it into the dry ingredients and mix until ingredients combined.
  3. Cover and leave for 8-24 hours.
  4. When ready heat oven to 220C.
  5. While oven is heating up, spread flour on the bench.
  6. Tip out dough and turn dough over to cover with flour.
  7. Place bowl over flour for 15 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile place Dutch oven in the oven for 15 minutes while the dough is under the bowl.
  9. Once Dutch oven is hot place dough in it, and place lid on and cook for 30 minutes.
  10. Then remove lid and cook a further 15 minutes.
  11. Remove bread from Dutch oven and rest go a few hours before cutting.
