Oat Slice

Ingredients:
- 2.5 cups oats
- 3 TBsp chia seeds
- 1 TBsp ground flax seed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk you choose (I used rice milk)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 2 TBsp nut butter
- 1 banana mushed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1/2 block dairy/GF choc
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180C.
- Grease small baking pan and line with grease proof paper.
- Blend one cup of oats first then add all dry ingredients in one bowl and mix well.
- In another bowl mix wet ingredients, except the chocolate.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients bowl.
- Mix well and pour in prepared pan (it will look quite wet.)
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted in the centre.
- Edges should be golden brown.
- Carefully remove from tray and cool in wire rack.
- Once mostly cool chop into squares and drizzle over melted chocolate if desired.
