Pesto


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh basil packed (can substitute half with spinach)
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a blender, blend leaves and pine nuts.
  2. Once mixed add remaining ingredients and blend until all cook combined, but still has some texture remaining.
  3. Serve mixed in with pasta or as a dip.
