Teresas Chilli

Ingredients:
- 1 Kilo Minced Meat ( I use beef, Teresa uses Turkey)
- 2 Celery Sticks chopped
- 1 Green pepper chopped
- 3-4 garlic cloves crushed
- 1/2 bunch parsley chopped
- 1 can or 2 fresh corn cobs
- 1 carrot grated
- 1 can black beans
- 2 cans chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomatoe paste
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon chilli
- olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a large pot and then add garlic, cook for a few minutes before adding celery and pepper.
- Cook for two minutes more and add chilli powder then mince meat.
- Cook the meat until brown.
- Add all other ingredients and bring to the boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and cook for at least 1 hour.
- This gets better with age! Serve with cheese on top and/or crusty bread if desired.
